What We Have Accomplished

RLTA members have protected 58,000 acres of prime habitat and watersheds, mostly in Alberta’s least protected natural subregions.

The government’s Alberta Land Trust Grant Program investment of $33 million in RLTA projects has been matched by over $72 million dollars in other donations and grants, more than doubling the investment into conservation of natural areas.

Each year, RLTA members engage hundreds of volunteers and members in community based conservation.
